BIRD or FEATHER
an audiovisual concert with piano, drawing, and projection
One should be light like a bird and not like a feather. (Paul Valéry)
Lightness is not a deficiency but a virtue that goes hand in hand with precision, determination, and an attentive perception of reality - according to the writer Italo Calvino (1923-1985).
Following this idea, this concert programme combines live piano music with drawing, video projection, and improvisation.
Visual art and music are equally involved here:
Time flows between the various audio-visual impressions that merge into one another, creating a unique, open-ended experience that invites the audience to make free associations.

Around the great figure of Claude Debussy, this music programme offers a possible connection between the composers of the 20th/21st centuries and the present.
"Music," said Debussy, “is a mysterious mathematical process whose elements are part of Infinity. It lives in the movement of water, in the wavy play of changing winds; There is nothing more musical than a sunset".
In order to comprehend the complexity of the world, the mind must be able to free itself from constraints.
And fly on lightly.
